About Dr. Abigail Gordon
Dr. Gordon is a fellowship trained and Board Certified Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, eyebrows, tear duct system and face. She combines cutting-edge research and surgical techniques with a compassionate approach to patient care.
A native of Tyler, Texas, Dr. Gordon completed her undergraduate degree at Rice University and continued her medical studies at Baylor College of Medicine through the prestigious Rice/Baylor Medical Scholars combined program. She then went on to complete her internship at the University of Chicago at their Northshore Hospital before her residency in Ophthalmology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She returned to Texas where she furthered her expertise with a fellowship in Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery at UT Southwestern. Dr. Gordon additionally has published her research in leading medical journals and presented her work at multiple national medical conferences. Her extensive training has equipped her with a deep understanding of the aesthetic and functional aspects of oculoplastic surgery.
